“ZAK” Grafting Stock

Yellow flower grandi “ZAK” is one of my favorite grafting stocks. It pumps extremely hard. I’ve even had it induce flowering in seedling grafts twice. 

I got ZAK from a neighbor back in 2000, but I didn’t really realize its potential until about 10 years ago. I highly recommend it as grafting stock. It tends to fall over once it reaches around 3 feet and will usually grow into a cluster if left alone, so I think it’s much better suited as a grafting stock than as a stand-alone plant.
